If your computer has pornographic, sexual or explicit images/video or any type of file thereof with children under the age of consensual sex in Canada, then be advised the RCMP or Local Crime Intervention Agency will be informed.
Child pornography falls under Section 163 of the Canadian Criminal Code which covers the indictable offences of distribution, possession and accessing photos, film, videotapes and computer files. |

It's a criminal offence to possess or access child pornography! "It's against the law to log on to child pornography sites and doing so from a public computer doesn't make it any better. As for not reporting the crime - that too, is against the law.

LCCE is not the type to go searching through your private stuff, but in the event of performing our duties as your computer tech and we happen to come across explicit images or video of children, LCCE will have no other choice than to report this…
Pictures of your kids running around the house in the buff in my opinion are not considered “Child Porn” unless the child is posed in an explicit or sexual way...
Kids in the tub full of bubbles is just that, unless it shows signs or poses or content that is questionable…
I think one can tell “Child Porn” from everyday pictures of memories… But if it looks questionable… It will be reported as such… |
